C. Melissa "Missy" Owen always wanted to be a criminal defense lawyer. The daughter of Pittsburgh defense attorney John Knorr, Missy never had an interest in doing anything else. Missy has represented individuals and businesses in North Carolina state and federal courts since moving to Charlotte in 2002 and joining Mr. Tin in what then was his solo practice. Although the breadth of her experience ranges from misdemeanors to homicide cases, Missy's practice focuses on white collar and sex offense prosecutions.
