Attorneys

Rob Heroy left his solo practice and joined Tin, Fulton, Walker & Owen in August of 2008.  Prior to that, he worked as an Assistant District Attorney in the Mecklenburg County District Attorney's Office.

Mr. Heroy represents clients in criminal matters in both state and federal courts in Charlotte and throughout North Carolina .  He represents criminal clients in matters ranging from traffic matters and DWI cases to serious felonies and federal charges. 

Mr. Heroy represents individuals on a wide range of immigration matters.  However, his primary focus within immigration law is detention and removal.  He represents in individuals in immigration court in Charlotte and Atlanta who have been detained by ICE.  In most cases he is able to obtain an immigration bond in an expedient manner through the immigration courts and has also been successful in obtaining relief through habeas proceedings when it was not available through the immigration courts. 

Additionally, Mr. Heroy frequently represents bondsmen and individuals in forfeiture, set aside, and bond remission proceedings in both district and superior court.

Rob Heroy graduated undergraduate from UNC-Chapel Hill with a degree in Economics, then returned for law school, where he graduated with honors and was a member of the Moot Court National Team.  When not practicing law, Mr. Heroy enjoys mountain biking and was a top finisher in the 2009 World Series of Poker.
