Margaret Teich
Margaret Teich is a native daughter of Asheville, N.C. and graduate of Asheville City Schools. Margaret attended UNC Chapel Hill on a Morehead Scholarship.
After college, Margaret moved to New York City where she worked as multimedia journalist, attended Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in Manhattan, and then became a public defender with the Legal Aid Society - Criminal Defense Practice in Queens.
Margaret returned home to Asheville in 2017 to raise her children in the mountains of Western North Carolina and fight for its people in State and Federal Court. Her practice focuses on criminal and juvenile defense, traffic, post-conviction representation, civil restraining orders (“50b”), and family law.
Margaret joined Tin Fulton Walker & Owen in 2023.
