Zack Ezor

Zack Ezor joined Tin Fulton Walker & Owen in 2023.

A former public-radio producer, Zack came to North Carolina to attend Duke Law School. He now calls Durham home.

Right after graduation, Zack clerked for two federal judges—Judge Loretta C. Biggs (Middle District of North Carolina) and Judge James A. Wynn (U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit). He then served as a Dellinger Fellow with the North Carolina Solicitor General’s Office, where he handled a wide range of appeals in both state and federal court.

As an advocate, Zack has argued cases before the North Carolina Supreme Court and Court of Appeals. He’s helped defend the constitutionality of North Carolina’s SAFE Child Act, which extended the statute of limitations for civil claims of child sexual abuse. And he was recently on brief in Moore v. Harper, the partisan-gerrymandering case pending before the U.S. Supreme Court.

Zack’s practice focuses on appellate, civil-rights, criminal, and business-litigation cases.
