State v. R.Q.
Matthew Pruden represented a client charged with three counts of habitual misdemeanor assault (an assault that is charged a as felony based on a defendant’s prior record) and common law robbery based on accusations that he assaulted three different people and robbed one of them. At trial, Mr. Pruden raised self-defense as a defense to two of the assault charges and called into question the remaining charges. The client was acquitted on all charges.
