C. Margaret Errington

C. Margaret Errington​ was born in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. After graduating from Northeastern University School of Law and clerking for the Honorable Herbert W. Wilkins in the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, Margaret joined Ferguson Stein Chambers Gresham & Sumter in Charlotte, where she practiced for over two decades. Throughout her career, Margaret’s practice concentrated on civil rights, employment law, and medical negligence. Margaret retired from Ferguson Stein Chambers Gresham & Sumter in 2011 and subsequently became of counsel with Tin Fulton Walker & Owen in 2012 until her retirement in 2020.

Margaret has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America in the area of labor and employment law, and holds an AV® Preeminent rating from Martindale–Hubbell.

C. Margaret Errington is committed to community service and has served as a director for many area agencies, including Legal Services for the Southern Piedmont, Anuvia Prevention & Recovery Center, the Dewees Island Utility Corporation, and the Dewees Island Environmental Programs Board.
