Family Law Job Post

The firm's family law practice group is hiring an entry-level associate. The ideal candidate will:

  • take the July bar exam and ideally be licensed in the fall;
  • have a genuine passion for family law which is evident from courses the candidate has taken, internships and/or clinics the candidate has participated in, and/or previous employment; 
  • take satisfaction in working with families to minimize the negative impact of divorce;
  • be punctual, reliable, and conscientious;
  • have strong legal research skills;
  • be highly organized with ability to multi-task;
  • be comfortable interacting with clients who are going through a difficult life transition with compassion; and
  • be able to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

  • Compensation structure consisting of salary plus bonus based on productivity and collections.
  • Health insurance coverage provided at no cost to you, effective 60 days after hire.
  • Long and short-term disability coverage provided at no cost to you, effective 60 days after hire.
  • Partially-paid maternity/paternity leave available after 18 months of employment (up to 12 weeks off, paid at 60% of your salary for the weeks not covered by short-term disability coverage).

  • Notary certification/recertification fees, CLE expenses up to $1,000/year, and State Bar dues will also be paid on your behalf by the firm.
